The sermon is the preached Word and is based on God's written Word. It is a proclamation of Scripture designed to reveal Jesus Christ to those who "hear" it. It is the people's responsibility in hearing the Word to discern Jesus Christ, receive His grace, and to respond to His call with obedience.
PCPC offers two different "styles" of worship services and sermons: Traditional and Contemporary. The traditional style uses more conventional and orthodox presentational forms in delivering the Word. In the Contemporary format, the Word is offered with a more modern and current twist.
